Krishna Temple

Krishna Temple is situated on our 28 acre farm in the picturesque Motueka Valley, just twenty minutes from Motueka Township, and is a must stop for anyone traveling along the Motueka Valley Highway. Here one can instantly experience the peace and tranquility the temple affords. At different times of the day one may observe devotees of Krishna performing traditional arati ceremonies.

Visitors are welcome to look around the organic farm or take a walk through the native bush at the back of the land. There is also the famous Sunday Festival held every Sunday at 5pm, which is great for the entire family.

Krishna temple also holds family fun days including picnics, bushwalking, swimming and kayaking, and community festivals such as World Vegetarian Day, Krishna Janmastami, Christmas camp and much more. Major festivals are also observed throughout the year. See the events calendar for more information.

Visitors are also welcome to help in our organic garden, purchase organic vegetables or taste some wonderful Krishna food.

Everyone welcome!
